Community Residents Quit suspected bandits back to Zamfara and Katsina

The people of Wamba Local Government council has repatriated some bandits suspected to  be Fulani herdsmen alleged to have entered into the community from katsina and Zamfara respectively.

Council Chairman Hon. Abubakar Abas who  confirmed the incident  to journalist at the scene of the evacuation of the Bandits today in Wamba, saying the Bandits were loaded with cows and motorcycles.

He stressed further that the bandits arrived  the area at midnight, according to investigation by the council revealed that they where  Fulanis armed Bandits from Zamfara and Katsina  State respectively.

The local government boss however urge  the people of the area to be vigilant and report any suspected movement of strange  people to authorities concern to maintain peace and order enjoyed in the area.

On his part, Chairman Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria Nasarawa State Chapter Alh. Mohammed Hussaini also confirmed that the suspected Bandits were the one destroying Zamfara State, saying   that, “members of  his union have resolved not to accommodate any Fulani person from Zamfara, Katsina, among other states in the northern part of the country to avoid any criminal act in the state”.

In a swift reaction, the commissioner of culture and tourism Com. Dogo Shamah Danladi also confirmed the incident adding that the criminal elements where not allowed to settle in that area and were repatriated back to their various state.

In his word,  ” they where loaded in trucks back to katsina and zamfara, thanks to the effort of the people in that area to have suspected strange faces and making it known to the  authorities involved and actions where taking to bring the situation to bear”
 He however plead with the people in the area to remain calm and support the administration of Engr. Abdulahi sule in the fight against insecurity in the state.
