BOSG Assures Citizens of Safety Of Lives And Property Amidst Security Challenges

The Acting  Governor of Borno state, Umar Usman Kadafur, has assured residents of Borno of government’s commitment in providing protection  of live and property in spite of security challenges and economic crunch that have continued to bedevil its law abiding citizens. 

He also called on the  people to remain vigilant and be security alert while going about their normal activities especially during the Eid el Fitri sallah  celebrations across the State.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Press to the Deputy Governor, Bulama Talba, reiterated the Acting Governor’s commitment to security and welfare of all the People.

 The Acting Governor used the opportunity to appeal to the people not  to be panic during sallah as  security measures have been put in place to protect lives and property of the citizens while security operatives  are on red alert and in control  protect  lives and property of the people.

On security personnel in the state, he commended  their doggedness and concerted  efforts in fight the counter Insurgency war aimed at bringing  lasting solution for peace and harmony, urging the Muslim Ummah to take  advantage of the holy month of Ramadan fast  to continue to pray for the victory of  gallant soldiers  and other security agencies.
