APC reaffirms its commitment to good governance, set to take over Karu

The ruling All Progressive Congress Party (APC) in Nasarawa State has reaffirms its determination and commitment to uphold good governance in its led administration in Nasarawa State to attract dividend of democracy to the people of the state.

Dr John Momoh, Chairman, Nasarawa State APC Caretaker Committee said this while receiving one of the loyal members of the Party, Mr Abraham Stephen – Nare , Wednesday in Lafia.

Dr Momoh who was represented by the Party Secretary, Mr Aliyu Bello, said the APC led administration under the leadership of Gov Abdullahi Sule was committed to the development of the state through engendering good governance.

He said APC would change the narrative of Karu local government Area of the state which hitherto proved to be difficult for the party to win in the forthcoming 2023 general election by the massive new members its recorded from the axis.

“We are happy with what you have been doing in Karu, Karu is one our problems because of its cosmopolitan nature but your coming assured us this time that we are going to win in 2023 general election,” he said.

The party Chairman while appreciating Mr Stephen -Nare for the visit and his commitment and loyalty to the party, assured of party support to the committed members in their quest to serve in whichever capacity.

“APC as a party believe in loyal members who are ready to serve, and I want to assure you of our support whichever way, be it elective, appointment or any other positions,” he said.

Speaking earlier, Abraham Stephen – Nare, said he was at the Party Secretariat as a loyal and committed member to identify with the party.

Mr Stephen – Nare, An estate developers based in Abuja said he defected to All Progressive Congress (APC) from All Progressive Grand Alliance, ( APGA) after he contested for State House of Assembly and lost in 2019 general election to contribute his quota to the development of the party and the state in general.

Stephen – Nare who described himself as grassroot mobiliser and social crusader, said he was able to attract several social interventions to various communities using his connection with the develop partners and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“I am here basically to identify with the party and also to let the party know that I am ready for any task to execute for the party, if there is anywhere you feel we can assist whether elective or appointment we are ready,” he said.
