JUST IN: Kaduna LG Election Postponed Till Sept 4

The Chairman of the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (SIECOM), Dr. Saratu Dikko Audu, has announced the postponement of the local government elections to September 4th, 2021.

She made this known at the headquarters of the commission while speaking to stakeholders this Monday in Kaduna.

Recall that the election of chairmen/councilors in all the 23 local government areas of Kaduna state was earlier billed for Saturday, June 5, 2021 before it was postponed to August 14.

This is the third postponement so far.
