As the APC National convention draws closer , one candidate that would turn the table and spring up surprises is the one contesting Bayelsa State APC deputy chairman of the party, Hon.Zerubbabel Daniel who hails from Okumbiri community in Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa State.
He recalled that from time immemorial, the State Executive position of the party has not been zone to constituency 2, except this is the first time a candidate from the area is throwing his hat into the ring to contest the State exalted position of the party.
He noted that, this time around a young vibrant man, a young man who had contested State Assembly twice under the platform of action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) that has now metamorphosed to All Progressive Congress (APC).
He further stated that, he was the young man that presented David Lyon blue print for Governance live in Royal Fm and TV at the eve of the APC Gubernatorial campaign rally in 2019.Therefore, he has all what it takes to represent the party at that level.
He was of the view that, for the single fact that the creek has highest voting strength, with efficiency and vitality he is capable to represent the party at any level as the deputy chairman of Bayelsa APC.
Therefore, he is calling on th the party hierarchy in the state and the national level that have interest in the party in the 2023 general election to do the needful by supporting his ambition.
He noted that, in the forth coming State and National convention, let equity, fairness and justice prevail, by zoning the deputy State APC chairman to Salga Constituency 2.
He further stated that, the interest of a single man cannot override the interest of the generality of the people where there is no vote.
He called on all party stalwarts and supporters to vote for him as Bayelsa State APC deputy Chairman come 16th October, 2021.
