He was arrested few weeks ago alongside four others who have since been released leaving him behind as authorities say they found incriminating evidence on the laptop found with him.
During the bail application, his lead defense counsel, Olalekan Ojo, apologized for his absence at the initial arraignment on May 20 due to heavy down poor.
The prosecution counsel, led by Rotimi Oyedepo, argued that the final judgment is what matters, not temporary release of the singer.
He urged the court to grant accelerated hearing rather than bail because his celebrity status has an effect on the youth.
The presiding judge, Justice Nicholas Oweibo, after listening to the defense and prosecution arguments granted the singer bail to the sum of two million naira, two sureties.
