El-Katuzu Promises Quality Education

… Debuts e- education platform in FCT

Secretary for Education, Sani Dahir El- Katuzu has promised quality educational services for residents of the FCT.
El-Katuzu made this promise during his his official familiarisation tour to Boards and Departments of the Education Secretariat.
He enjoined the various Boards and Departments of the Education Secretariat to intensify their efforts in providing, improving and sustaining the quality services they render in the Sector.

The Secretary said that the visits to the various departments was necessary for the Secretariat to pull maximum support for success in the Education Secretariat.

El-katuzu said, “Education holds the key to other developments in any nation hence it could not be toyed with adding that the FCT Education Secretariat under his supervision is determined to restore the lost glory of the sector without compromising standards in the discharge it’s duties.”

He commended the ongoing e-Education platform registration multimedia introduced by the Director, Department of Policy, Planning, Research and Statistics Dr. Sani Ladan.

The e- education platform is on FCT online and Multimedia Education portal where all schools in FCT are expected to register their staff to enable them log in and have access to e-lesson plan, e-note, e-scheme of work and e- time table.
Ladan informed that the multimedia enables registered officers from the Six Area Councils to access all FCT Schools at the comfort of their offices to monitor and assess all activities.
Katuzu called for support for the e-education media, adding that it is a feat that moved FCT educational system from paper to paperless digitalised technology.
Director, Administration and Finance, Education Secretariat, Mallam Abdulrazaq Leramoh explained that every board and department of the Education Secretariat renders essential services that has enhanced higher education to ensure proper sanitisation of the education process, provision of sound academic teaching and learning ,priority to special needs students to access education.
