Abuja Developer hails Wike for Kuje 5 kilometer Dual Carriageway, says it will impact on the people

By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

A Developer and Contractor in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Chief Patrick Adeboye Ojo, the Ajiroba of Efon Aalaye, on Monday hailed the FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike for flagging off the construction of 5 kilometer Asphalt Dual Carriageway from Garage Junction to LEA Secondary School, Kuje.

Chief Ojo while speaking with Journalists on Monday in Kuje said that the road project is something the people of Kuje has been looking forward, as he expressed happiness that the minister had come to do the flag-off.
The project will impact tremendously on the people of Kuje, he emphasized.

He said, ” l am a stakeholder in FCT and a believer in the ability of President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of FCT Chief Nyelson Wike to transform the FCT with all the satellite towns.

The Ajiroba of Efon Aalayealaye said, “The people of Kuje have long awaited this project, and we are impressed and happy that the minister, out of his busy schedule, can come here today to do the flag-off.

“Because we know everywhere he goes and makes a promise and intentions known, it will definitely come to pass, and for that reason, we are waiting in anticipation to hear from the working minister.”

” We have seen what he has done in other places, especially within the FCT city centre where many projects have been going on. So it is now our turn in Kuje. The project will impact tremendously on the people of Kuje. From here to Gwagwalada should be less than seven minutes drive, but the traffic congestion in this area makes it way longer than that.”

” So the project, when completed, will decongest this road and will effectively also allow free flow of traffic along the Airport Road. So you see, it’s beyond this area alone it’s going to affect every part of the FCT south, he emphasized.

Chief Patrick Ojo is the brain behind development and construction of the new Kuje shopping complex, and projects such as the Dawaki market and the Dutsen-Alhaji market popularly called the Olajumoke Shopping Complex and a lot of other development in town here.

He said that as a stakeholder in the FCT and Kuje , ” it is just natural for him to be at the flag-off exercise.

Daybreak reports that Wike flagged off the construction of an Asphalt Carriageway from Garage Junction to LEA Secondary School, Kuje.
