Adanma Luke Pleads with Nigerians Following Junior Pope’s Tragic Passing

Nollywood actress Adanma Luke has issued an emotional appeal to Nigerians in the wake of the tragic death of her colleague, Junior Pope. In a heartfelt video shared on her Instagram page, the actress apologized to Nigerians who have expressed their grief and anger over the loss of their loved ones, including Pope.

Adanma Luke expressed her deep sorrow over the boating accident that claimed the life of Junior Pope and several other crew members. She revealed that she has been struggling to cope with the relentless criticism she has faced online since the incident.

The actress recounted the events surrounding the unfortunate accident, stating that many of those involved had crossed the river without life jackets, as she was informed. Overwhelmed with emotion, she tearfully admitted that she feels like she is losing herself amidst the backlash and begged Nigerians for forgiveness, even though the tragedy was beyond her control.

In the caption accompanying the video, Adanma wrote, “I’m sorry this had to happen to me. I’m not God, but please put yourselves in my shoes. It’s not easy for me, and believe me, I still need your prayers. 🙏🏾”
