ADC will deliver Oyo from APC bondage in 2019. …..Lanlehin

African Democratic Congress ADC gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State Chief Olufemi Lanlehin on Wednesday in Ibadan said his party shall end and deliver the state out bondage of the All Progressive Party APC under the leadership of Senator Abiola Ajimobi come 2019 general elections in Oyo State.

Chief Lanlehin who made the declaration yesterday while unveiling the campaign team of the party said Oyo state is fed up with the government of ‘me and my family ‘ and will join hands with his party is to terminate Ajimobi APC’s government in 2019.

He said that five group ( party including Accord, fractions from APC, PDP ADP ) came together to form ADC adding that in Oyo state, they came together majorly to terminate arrogant hegemony of Ajimobi and the APC in the State.

According to him “All of you can bear me witness, what is the achievements of Abiola Ajimobi in the State in the last seven and half years?, he has been traveling out every month saying he is looking for investors ,I don’t know if he had succeeded in bringing any investors to Oyo state since.?

“He has been travelling around the world with tax payers money looking for elusive investors .ADC shall take over the government of Oyo state on March 2th 2019. So those thinking they will continue to rule the state under the platform of the APC next should stop deceiving themselves. ”

On defection of the former governor of Oyo State ,Senator Rasheed Ladoja to Zenith Party, Lanlehin noted “Chief Ladoja remains my leader any day. Although he said he defected to Zenith party that does not remove the fact that he remains my political leader. The mere fact that he had gone to another party cannot reduce the fortunes of ADC in 2019. I can tell you categorically that more than 95 percent of our members are with us. They remains in ADC. ”

Chief Lanlehin mentioned Arch. Basiru Lawal as director general of the ADC, in Oyo State. The deputy directors included
Tayo Oyegunju ( Oyo Central ),Hon. Ladies Oluokun (Oyo South), Barrister Lanre Agoro (Oyo North).

Lanlehin declared that the campaign shall be led by former SSG in the State under Chief Lamidi Adesina government a, Chief Michael Koleoso. Other SSGs are going to be involved included Dr. Busari Adebisi, Chief Olayiwola Olakojo among others.

One his cardinal programmes, Chief Lanlehin disclosed that his government shall eradicate unemployment from Oyo state through revival of enduring Agriculture system like that of China that provides jobs for over one billion out of three billions population. He said he embark on proper industrialization of the state that different from that of Senator Ajimobi. Lanlehin also promised to bring back both technical and trade schools that will provide meaningful jobs for the youth among others.
