Aliyu commends Pres. Tinubu for female ministerial nominees

Dr. Ramatu Aliyu has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for including six women and other brilliant and hardworking Nigerians in the ministerial list to work in his administration.

Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu gave the commendation in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Abuja on Saturday.

The immediate past Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory (FCT) expressed her happiness over recognition of the Nigerian women on the list, adding that it is well deserved and timely.

The message reads in part: “I am delighted and honored to extend my heartfelt congratulations to esteemed Nigerian women who have been recognized on list of ministerial nominees.

“Your appointments by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, are not only well-deserved but also timely.”

The former All Progressives Congress (APC) national women leader also expressed confidence in the ability of the female nominees to excel in their national assignments and play pivotal roles in assisting the President in realizing his vision of a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

As you embark on these important responsibilities, I pray for God’s guidance, sound health, and wisdom to enable you to discharge your duties diligently. Your dedication to the service of our nation is commendable, and I offer you my utmost regards, she said

No fewer than six women have been nominated for ministerial positions in the first batch of the list submitted to the Senate by President Tinubu.

Women who made the ministerial list are Stella Okotette, Nkiru Onyeojiocha, Uju Kennedy Ohaneye, Dorris Aniche Udoka, Hannatu Musawa and Uche Nnaji.
