Renowned Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has strongly denounced men who resort to violence against women, asserting that such actions strip them of the right to be called men.
In an advertisement for Life Lager beer coinciding with his 77th birthday and International Women’s Day on March 8, Edochie extolled the virtues of women, emphasizing that a house only becomes a home when a woman is present.
Edochie admonished men, stressing that a woman’s strength lies in her words, and resorting to violence due to provocation undermines one’s masculinity.
He further asserted that a man capable of harmonious coexistence with a woman is fit to lead not only a household but also a local government or a country.
