By Muhammad Goronyo, Sokoto

“We are not unaware of the peoples’ enormous sacrifices as we continue to suffer from maladministration and neglect under an insensitive government that is more interested in gaining and retaining power than ensuring the comfort and welfare of its people”, averred the newly elected Chairman of the party Isah Sadiq Achida while addressing newsmen at the state Party headquarters.

He said it was unfortunate that many people cannot distinguish the difference between politics and administration as the PDP administration in Sokoto is a complete failure because while other States are celebrating dividends of democracy, Sokoto has nothing to celebrate.

He added that the few projects that were halfheartedly started due to pressure by APC have virtually been king at snail speed.

“We in the APC are seriously disturbed by the recent disclosure that the Sokoto state government is going to receive another huge loan of N28.7b”,Achida decried.

He further revealed that another issue of great concern is the deliberate removal of certain individuals from the payroll of the local government councils saying this deliberate removal otherwise called omissions has become another political weapon in the hand of the PDP administration in Sokoto state.

Isah Sadiq Achida then called on the state government to stop the political vendetta and if the government refuse to call its officials to order, APC will not hesitate to take a roll call of the victims and their relevant data for appropriate action because they all knew and understood that the punitive exercise is specifically targetedat APC supporters.

Meanwhile, the State ALGON Chairman assured the state executive council members of their maximum support at all times saying he was certain APC party would rule Nigeria from local, state and federal governments offices.
