Hadejia Town of Jigawa state became agog last Saturday when the All Progressive Congress (APC) Kick-started it’s Gubernatorial campaign at Hadejia Zone where the party’s supporters stormed the venue chanting sai Dan Modi which is the nick name of Malam Umar Namadi, the party’s flag bearer.
Our correspondent gathered that the state was divided into zones so as to make the campaign more successful especially when the 2023 general elections is drawing nearer, while all the political parties remained committed to sell their candidates.
In his speech at the rally, governor Badaru Abubakar disclosed that his government under the APC platform have made a commendable job in the state where every part benefited from an important capital project, and from what is being seen contuinity tends to be made in order to transform the state to an examplary domain.
The governor however called on the good people’s le of Jigawa State to vote Malam Umar Namadi Dan Modi who is a trusted person and a leader who understands the problems affecting the state, assuring that “Dan Modi would continue from where I would stop from what he have offered as my deputy”. He concluded.
Speaking to Daybreak News shortly after the rally, the Jigawa State chairman of the All farmers Association,(AFAN) Alhaji Idris Yau Mai Unguwa disclosed the gubernatorial candidade as a real Democrat who is also willing to develop Jigawa State with his professional political know how, where he commended governor Badaru Abubakar for choosing Dan Modi as his successor.
He concluded that Jigawa farmers would continue to support who have a determination to ensure that our farming occupation is getting boost at both dry and rainfall seasons.
