**Association of Table Waters Producers (ATWAP) Warns of Possible N100 Price for Pure Water**

By Daniel Edu

The Association of Table Waters Producers (ATWAP) has indicated that the price of pure water might rise to N100 per sachet due to the escalating costs of production materials. During a press conference in Lagos, the association’s President, Clementina Ativie, cited challenges such as the high cost of diesel, lack of power, and overall elevated production costs. Ativie explained that the current price of water reflects the country’s situation, and there’s little they can do about it. The rising costs include materials like nylon, with the price of a 6 kg nylon increasing from N1,100 to N3,600/N3,700.
