Gov. El-Rufai’s wife shares photo of she and boyfriend
Why would the wife of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, do this to her loving husband?
To even think that they are now grandparents, why would she want to hurt everyone? To even think the photo was shared on the micro blogging site, Twitter?
Well, Hajia Hadiza Isma el-Rufai has decided to make many laugh as she shared a throwback photo of ‘herself and boyfriend’.
She just shared a throwback photo and captioned it, “My (then) boyfriend and I”
The ‘boyfriend’ on a closer look was her then boyfriend, Nasir el-rufai!
Wearing a white safari, he had his arms around his girlfriend as they posed for photos.
That’s Hajia Isma for you—witty and quite creative in her submissions.
She met Nasir in 1976 at the Kaduna School of Basic Studies. Both went to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where she studied Architecture and El-Rufai read Quantity Surveying.
They got married in 1985.
She has a BSc and MSc in Architecture (1983) and an MBA (1992) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, as well as a Masters in Creative Writing (2012) from Bath Spa University, United Kingdom.
She once worked as a lecturer at the Department of Architecture at Kaduna Polytechnic. She also worked for a few years at the National Electric Power Authority, before venturing into private practice, before working in private practice. She now runs Yasmin El-Rufai Foundation, set up to honour their daughter, who died in 2001.
She has also written a book ‘An abundance of Scorpions”, described by Helon Habila as “a heartbreaking tale of loss and an uplifting story of a woman’s strength and determination”

Actress Funke Adesiyan reacts to Ajimobi’s death, calls it a rude shock
Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan, has reacted to the shocking death of ex-Oyo governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
She stated that she is still in shock over the death of former Oyo governor, Abiola Ajimobi, who died on Thursday aged 70.
The Personal Assistant to the First Lady, Aisha Buhari on Domestic and Social Events, expressed her shock when she paid tribute to him on Instagram on Friday.
She wrote on her Instagram;
“Legends never die in our dreams, because they will always live within our hearts.’ The above are the words of Anthony Hincks.
“Finding the exact words to match how I feel about the passage of Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi eludes me. A rude shock. To live is to leave, death is indeed the ultimate end of our sojourn on earth.
“I commiserate with the family, friends, associates, sons and daughters of Oyo state especially our great party, the APC on the demise of an astute leader Senator Abiola Ajimobi (Koseleri). It is my prayers that Almighty Allah forgives his sins and grant him Aljannah Firdaos…,” she added.

Toyin Abraham and fan engages on Instagram fight over fertility herbs
Most loved Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham was seen exchanging words with a follower who accused her wrongly on Instagram. In the conversation that ensued between Toyin Abraham and the fan with the Instagram handle @patbumm , it was observed that both parties were angry and ready to fight each other.
According to Patbumm, she asked Toyin Abraham who happened to be the CEO of the herbs she bought , if she should discontinue the fertility herbs she got from her since she had already stopped advertising them. Patbumm however got angry after she did not get any response from the person she got the herbs from.

Am terribly disappointing in you Miss Toyin! I bought your herbs and suddenly I was not hearing single thing about the herbs on any of your platforms again! As a concerned consumer I reached out to you on this platform and on every other platform I can think of to ask if it’s still safe to keep drinking the herbs since I can’t see it anyway again, there was not a single response, not from you or from any of your representatives!
That is a terrible, terrible customer relationship you’ve got there especially when it has to do with consumable goods. You need to read more about good customers relationships as u go into serious business because being a celebrity might not be enough. Don’t forget that one customer satisfied is more than ten more customers gained!!”
Toyin Abraham who obviously wasn’t pleased with the kind of comment she got, replied saying;
“@patbumm there’s nobody I didnt respond to and I’m highly in you aswell for accusing me wrong,cos one of my distributors that didn’t even finish her stock i still did advert few days ago so madam I’m highly disappointed in you too”

Dencia mocks Hushpuppi, says at least bleaching is legal
Singer Dencia has taken a dig at Hushpuppi after a video released by the police in Dubai released a video to confirm his arrest.
Recall that Hushpuppi had taken a swipe at people who bleach their skin by warning them not to make social media posts in support of Black Lives Matter.
This must have been seen as offensive to Dencia who sells bleaching cream who waited to hit back at Hushpuppi.
On confirmation of his arrest, Dencia shared:
“At least bleaching is legal, we buy and sell legal bleaching without fear of arrest. He was arrested a day after this post. How can you be so loud, old, acting childish and doing illegal sht but always talking sht, demeaning and insulting hardworking folks on top of their money you are stealing?
“If you gonna be a criminal, be a smooth one. You can’t be smart and be dumb at the same time. N*ggahs ain’t street smart, they are social media smart”.

Rape allegation: Police grills D’banj in Abuja
Singer D’banj has been grilled by the Nigerian Police Force following a rape allegation against him by Seyitan Babatayo.
The questioning took place at the Force Criminal Investigation Department, Abuja, and by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Adaku Anya.
A top source in the police who spoke to The PUNCH also revealed that the singer dropped a statement on the rape allegation.
The source said, “D’Banj has been questioned twice at the FCID, Abuja. He was questioned last week and also this week. We will leave no stone unturned as we investigate the matter.”
His accuser, Seyitan who couldn’t make it to Abuja will be questioned at the annex of the FCID in Lagos.
“Seyitan appealed with us that she had no means of travelling down to Abuja. So, she has been given the option of reporting at the FCID Annex, Alagbon, Ikoyi,” the officer said.

Popular actress, Uche Nnanna is presently in sorrow due to the sudden death of her mum. The mother of two took to social media to announce that her mother had passed on.
Sharing a beautiful picture of her mum, Uche Nnanna wrote;
“Lost for words. My dearest Mother Iyom Jesus, Lolo Ezinne Romana Nnanna ( AKA Daylight) has taken a bow at the early hours of this morning the 25/06/2020. May her sweet, gentle, loving soul rest in the bossom of our LORD AMEN.”

Hushpuppi and his gang defrauded about 2 million victims – Dubai police reports
In a special operation, the Dubai Police have arrested 12 cybercriminals, including the one nicknamed as Hushpuppi and another, Woodberry, and foiled a fraud plan of the gang worth Dh1.6 billion.
From the file retrieved in the hotel room where the gang was arrested, it was discovered that Hushpuppi and his gang have defrauded about 2 million victims.
The operation titled Fox Hunt 2 enabled the arrest of the suspects for crimes committed outside the UAE, including money laundering, cyber fraud, hacking, impersonation, scamming individuals, banking fraud, and identity theft.
Lt-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, said the arrest of the suspects is another achievement for the police in ensuring the emirate’s security and safety. “Similar to operation ‘Fox Hunt 1’ that took down an African gang of nine online scammers last February, ‘Fox Hunt 2’ is another effective action against cybercriminals who try to mess with the world’s security and safety,” he said.
According to Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, assistant commander-in-chief for Criminal Investigation, the suspects were caught in a series of synchronized raids by six SWAT teams. “The operation was carried out in a highly professional manner in terms of planning and execution as well as setting a zero hour to take down all gang members in the same time,” Al Mansouri said.

Hushpuppi: Ifu Ennada hails Dubai police, says honest work pays
Former BBNaija reality TV star, Ifu Ennada has slammed everyone sympathetic to the course of cyber fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo Boys.
Her post comes hours after the Dubai Police released a video showing how Hushpuppi and his gang were arrested after defrauding 1.9 million people and making N168 billion.
Giving a shout out to the Dubai Police, Ifu Ennada promoted the image of Nigeria and encouraged people to focus on honest work.
She wrote: “Every day for the thief, one day for the owner. #saynotocrime #shoutoutstodubaipolice
“If you feel attacked by this story, then you need to re-evaluate your life.
“If you insult me because of this story, then thunder will fire you.
“I hope the corrupt politicians are taking notes.
“Every fraudulent person go get their own one day.
“Hopefully, we’ll slowly rebuild the image of Nigeria.
“Clean honest work pays”.

“Daddy Freeze is an antichrist” Samklef says
Music producer, Samklef has said that OAP Daddy Freeze is an antichrist while reacting to the backlash he received for supporting Hushpuppi.
Recall that Daddy Freeze had travelled to meet Hushpuppi in Dubai, a meeting which sold Hushpuppi to Nigerians as a legitimate businessman.
With the news of Hushpuppi’s arrest, many have slammed Daddy Freeze for embracing a fraudster while always attacking pastors.
One of those is Samklef who had a beef with Daddy Freeze in 2017.
He wrote: “The battle u started with me in 2017 I win am today! Let me end it here.. if u point 1 finger to person the remaining 4 they point back @ you. U be antichrist my guy.. when u beat piking u go still call am back and show am love.. I 4 give u. Go and sin no more!”.
