Bandits Kill Four Vigilante Members, Police Officer in Kaduna

Yahaya musa dan salio, the member representing kutemeshi constituency in the kaduna state house of assembly, has confirmed a deadly attack by bandits on residents of kakangi ward in birnin gwari, kaduna state. The attack, which occurred on sunday, resulted in the deaths of four vigilante members and a mobile police force (mpf) officer.

Salio also mentioned that besides the fatalities, several villagers were abducted while working on their farms around sabon layi. Asp mansir hassan, the police public relations officer for the kaduna state command, provided additional details, stating:

“When we received information about bandits attacking people on their farms, the divisional police officer and the hunters posted in the area mobilized to repel the attack. In the process, three local vigilantes and a mobile policeman were killed. Several bandits were also neutralized, and others escaped with bullet wounds.”
