Bayelsa Deputy Governor Lauds Diri’s Leadership on 66th Birthday

 Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, has congratulated Governor Douye Diri on his 66th birthday, commending him as a beacon of peace and transformative leadership.

 In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Doubara Atasi, Senator Ewhrudjakpo expressed profound gratitude for Diri’s trust in selecting him as deputy twice, describing it as an exceptional act of goodwill.

Senator Ewhrudjakpo highlighted Governor Diri’s peaceful approach, noting its role in stabilizing Bayelsa, particularly in restoring calm to Opu-Nembe. 

He praised Diri’s pragmatic governance, stating that it has won widespread support for the Prosperity Administration across political divides. 

The Deputy Governor reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the ASSURED Prosperity Agenda, pledging to support Diri’s vision for impactful infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing the lives of Bayelsans.

Expressing heartfelt appreciation, Ewhrudjakpo stated, “On behalf of my family and staff, I join countless well-wishers to celebrate Your Excellency’s 66th birthday. 

” Your choice of me as your deputy reflects a rare bond of trust, for which I remain deeply grateful.” 

He prayed for divine guidance and blessings for Diri’s continued leadership.

The statement underscores the robust partnership between Governor Diri and his deputy, a cornerstone of the administration’s success in fostering unity and driving progress in Bayelsa State.
