The Electoral Committee for conduct of Congress for Benue State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party {PDP} today 3rd October, 2024 conducted State Congress of the party putting together a strong Executive Committee with a charge on them to rescue the party from the fangs of the vultures.
A statement by Chairman of the Benue State Congress Electoral Committee said the development is sequel to directives from the National Secretariat of the party headed by the Ambassador Iliya Damagun that a valid State Congress be conducted to run the affairs of the party in the next four years.
The statement reads in part;
“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the emergence of a new State Executive Council (SEC) in Benue State”.
“At the conclusion of the State Congress in Makurdi the State Capital on Thursday October 3rd 2024 the new State Executive Council of the party got elected as follows:
