Benue Police Command ordered arrest of Suswam’s killers

Following the gruesome murder of a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Benue State, Dr Terkula Suswam by yet to be identified gunmen, the state Police Commissioner, Mr. Audu Madaki has ordered a thorough investigation into the death.

 

Suswam was killed on Tuesday along side his aide, Mr. Tombowua at his country home, Anyiin in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.

 

In a statement by the Command’s Spokesperson, DSP Sewuese Anene said the order by the State Commissioner was to ensure that those involved in the dastardly act were apprehended and brought to justice.

 

The statement added that more security operatives have been deployed to the area to ensure security of lives and property.

 

Findings by Day Break showed that no arrest has been made with respect to the killings at the time of filing this report
