Benue’s Products Exhibition to Enhance Economic, Industrial Growth -Gov Alia

The Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, has described the products exhibition for local investors in the state as a breakthrough in the state’s journey towards economic rejuvenation and industrial advancement.

The Governor who disclosed this during the 2025 First Exhibition for Local Investors held at the IBB square Makurdi, assured of his administration’s willingness to revamp the moribund industries and create new ones to create jobs for the teeming youths of the state.

He noted that the event was an opportunity to showcase talents and innovations by local investors in the state, stressing that “this exhibition makes their productions to public glare, bringing reassurance to the manufacturers and unmasking, sponsors, investors and larger markets.”

“We are committed to repositioning Benue State towards economic and industrial growth of the state. Government is willing to revamp the moribund industries and create new ones to create jobs for our teeming youths. This event is an opportunity to showcase talents and innovations.”

While calling on the Federal Government and corporate organizations to invest in local enterprises to empower communities and foster self reliance, the Governor maintained that if given the right support, people of Benue State can compete enthusiastically in any market, both nationally and internationally.

Also speaking, the Minister of Trade and Investment, Mrs Ajimoke Jomole, pledged the Federal Government’s support to the local investors in the state. “We will continue to support your ingenuity. It is an opportunity to showcase your innovations, you have created jobs for the youths,” she added.
