BIRS Chairman Strengthens Collaboration With FRSC To Ensure Safety of Lives

Acting Executive Chairman, Benue Internal Revenue Service, BIRS, Mr Emmanuel Agema, has assured his full cooperation with the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, to ensure that the roads are safer for the people of Benue State.
In a statement by the Media Assistant to Mr Agema, Jacinta Bernard indicated that the Chairman gave the assurance when he led the other management staff on a courtesy visit to the Sector Commander of the Corps, Mr Steven Ayodele in his office in Makurdi.
The Chairman, who was represented by the Director Revenue, Mrs Lucia Anumeh, undercored the importance of Road Safety Officers during contravention exercise of enforcing registration and renewal of vehicle particulars, adding that their involvement and presence in the contravention exercise will increase compliance.
Mr Agema, further assured of the Management’s resolve to ensure a stronger relationship with the Federal Road Safety Corps for development to thrive.
Responding, the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Steven Ayodele, pledged to cooperate with the Chairman to enable him succeed, stressing that it’s their duty to work with every state government in order to keep the road safe for people to ply on.
