BREAKING: Buhari signs Electoral Act Amendment Bill into law

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed into law the re-worked Electoral Act Amendment Bill at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The President signed the piece of legislation into law shortly after he returned from a two-day working visit to Nasarawa State.

The ceremony held at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Present at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa for the ceremony were the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and President of the Senate, Dr. Ahmad Lawan.

Also present were Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, among others.
