Tragic report reaching us alleged that the traditional ruler of Barkin Ladi local government Area of plateau state, acting Gwom Rwei district Da Bulus Musa Jakai has been killed. Although scanty, available information stated that the Paramount ruler was killed on Monday by people suspected to be gunmen. Eye witness posting by M. Amani stated that “The Acting Gwom Rwei of Foron District, Barkin Ladi LGA Da Bulus Musa Jakai was killed yesterday by suspected gunmen”. Plateau, it was gathered have enjoyed some relative peace in recent time due to the efforts made by the state Governor, Simon Dalong, but this might have been broken under this development.
