Unknown gunmen have reportedly killed the Senior Special Assistant to Benue Governor Samuel Ortom on Security, AIG Christopher Dega (Rtd).
Our correspondent gathered that the aide died after being shot on his chest in Jos, the State capital.
AIG Dega had a brilliant career in the Nigeria Police Force and was twice Commissioner of Police in Borno and Edo States.
The deceased hailed from Katsina Ala Local Government Area in the state .
