The Kaduna State Police Command has invited the Senator representing Kaduna Central, Lawal Adamu Usman, over allegations of threats to life and false claims made against the state governor, Senator Uba Sani.
The rare development followed a petition submitted by Governor Sani through the Kaduna State Ministry of Justice. The invitation was conveyed in a letter signed by the State Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Muhammad.
According to the letter, Senator Adamu, popularly known as La’ah, is expected to appear before the Commissioner of Police at the command headquarters on Monday, September 1, to respond to the allegations.
