British Airways offers up to 45 per cent boost on Avios purchases

British Airways has launched a bonus Avios promotion for Executive Club members looking to purchase or gift points this month.

Those buying Avios by 2359 GMT on November 25 will receive between 20 per cent and 45 per cent bonus points depending on the number of Avios purchased.

Members buying between 1,000 and 15,000 Avios will receive a 20 per cent bonus, while those purchasing between 20,000 and 35,000 will receive a 30 per cent bonus.

Members buying between 40,000 and 90,000 Avios will receive a 35 per cent bonus, and finally those purchasing between 100,000 and 200,000 Avios will get a bonus of 45 per cent.

Earlier this week the carrier also released 50,000 extra Club World seats for reward redemptions.

The extra seats are available to book until December 2 and cover a variety of routes to and from London, including New York, Dubai and Johannesburg.
