Britney Spears Opens Up About Posing Nude and Past Relationship with Justin Timberlake in Upcoming Memoir

By Milcah  Tanimu

Britney Spears, the 41-year-old singer, has been forthcoming about her love for sharing her body and innermost feelings with her fans online, especially through photos in which she’s often topless or posing naked on the beach, which she shares with her 40 million Instagram followers. In her soon-to-be-released memoir, “The Woman in Me,” she attempts to shed light on why she enjoys sharing these intimate moments.

In an excerpt from the memoir, Britney Spears explained her motivations, stating, “I know that a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new dresses.” She continues, “But I think if they’d been photographed by other people thousands of times, prodded and posed for other people’s approval, they’d understand that I get a lot of joy from posing the way I feel sexy and taking my own picture.”

Britney Spears also delves into her past relationship with fellow pop star Justin Timberlake in the memoir. The two stars, who were part of the “Mickey Mouse Club,” dated from 1999 to 2002. In the book, Spears disclosed that she became pregnant during their relationship, and Timberlake convinced her to have an abortion. Spears expressed her love for Timberlake and her expectation of having a family together someday, making the decision to terminate the pregnancy a challenging one. She wrote that to this day, it remains one of the most agonizing experiences of her life.

Spears has since had two sons, Sean and Jayden, with ex-husband Kevin Federline. The couple married in 2004 and separated in 2006. In 2007, she became widely known for shaving her head, a move she attributed to wanting to change her physical image. Shortly after, she entered rehab and, a year later, was placed under a 13-year conservatorship with her father Jamie Spears at the helm.

Britney Spears expressed that the conservatorship enforced many restrictions upon her, including changes in appearance, early bedtime, and the required intake of prescribed medications. In the memoir, she confessed that the prescription medication Adderall was her “drug of choice,” as it helped her combat depression and make her feel less depressed. Spears, however, maintained that she never had a drinking problem.

Recently, after 14 months of marriage, Sam Asghari filed for divorce from Spears, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Spears is set to release more revelations and personal insights in her upcoming memoir, giving fans a deeper look into her life and experiences. A representative for Jamie Spears, Britney’s father, declined to comment when approached by Fox News Digital.
