Buhari Inaugurates Multi Million Naira Reference Hospital Okene, Legacy Projects In Kogi

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday inaugurated the Multi Million Naira Reference Hospital Okene and other projects in Kogi State.

The President who arrived Okene at about 10 30 am despite the reported explosion and was later brought to the new Palace of Ohininoy of Ebraland .

Among the legacy projects commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari were the PALACE OF OHINOYI OF EBIRA LAND Okene, the first ever FLY-OVER BRIDGE at Ganaja Junction Lokoja, the Muhammadu Buhari Square.

Others were the GYB Model Science Secondary School Adankolo Lokoja, Ambulances and special security vehicles. Okene , Agasa /Ogbogoro road and other township roads in Okene were also Inaugurated.

The President commended the Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello for delivering the electioneering campaign promises ,calling on the people of the State to cooperate and support the governor for more dividends of democracy

He lauded the All Progress Congress APC in Kogi for complementing the efforts of the Bello led administration .

On Ajaokuta Steel Company, the president noted that the federal government has committed over $400 millions dollar towards the revival of Ajaokuta Steel company.

The president mentioned that progress is being made on the ongoing KKK gas plant embarked upon by his administration .

Earlier at the Town hall meeting ,Governor stated that Thursday commissioning was historic to the People of Kogi State and Ebiraland in particular .

He pointed out that when his administration came on board on 27 th January ,2016, it was determined to serve the people of KogI State.

“We are determined to fulfil all the electioneering campaign promises to the people of the State that is why i followed President Muhammadu Buhari footsteps. All the support you gave me has work magic in Kogi State with legacy of projects across Kogi State”. governor stressed.

The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland ,His Royal Majesty Dr. Ado Ibrahim Welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari to Kogi State .

The Royal father who was represented by the Ohi Okengwe , HRH Alhaji Tijani Mohammed Anage thanked President Buhari for the support and encouragement given the State governor, noting that if not for the support today events would have not been possible .
