The Mosque constructed by Jarman Sokoto Umarun Kwabo AA has the capacity of about three thousand people conveniently during Jumuat congregational prayer.
During the Inauguration, the Chief Imam of the Mosque Professor Mansur Ibrahim Sokoto charged Muslim Ummah to fear Allah in all their undertakings and called on politicians to observe rules and regulations governing the conduct of elections.
“You are the class of people who can impose peaceful co-existence among members of the society no matter how controversial the situation may be”.
Mansur also called on wealthy individuals to emulate Jarma through construction of religious structures and support the conduct of religious activities.
He said this was the 815th Jumuat performed in the Mosque since its existence before the Inauguration.
Present at the Inauguration were the representative of the President, Sultan of Sokoto,Isah Ali Pantami , Governors of Sokoto, Niger, Jigawa and Kano states.
Others are Senators Wamakko, Adamu Aliero, Emirs from Kano, Jigawa among others.
Shortly after Inauguration, the marriage of the two daughters of Alhaji Umarun Kwabo, Nabila and Aisha Umaru were solemnized to Musa Zangon Daura and Kabiru Bayero the son of the Emir of Kano after paying N250 as dowry each.
