BYSHA 2023: I will tackle insecurity in our waterways -Hon.Robert

Bayelsa State House of assembly aspirant for Brass Constituency 1 on the platform of All progressive Congress (APC) Hon.Robert Dogibara Desmond has pledged to tangle the current insecurity problems in Twon Brass waterways.

Hon.Robert said, kidnapping and sea piracy in Brass waterways will be a thing of the pass, as he will collaborate with necessary security agencies to provide a lasting solution.

He made this known after picking the expression of interest and nomination forms, Friday, May 6th at the APC State Secretariat, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

He said been a grassroot politician who knows the plights of Brass Constituency 1, if given the mandate he will put smiles on the faces of his people.

” If I’m elected, I will bring sanity, development, security, my people are attacked on the waterways by sea pirates and kidnappers. Before development to strive in any society, the place must be save, and I’m coming to give people of brass Constituency 1 the needed peace and development.

“Our primary responsibility has always been to give adequate representation to our people and better interaction; even though we are there to make laws that will bring about the enhancements of the socio-economic well-being of our people, as well as carry out appropriation and oversight of the same funds appropriated for the executives and the system.”

The Assembly hopeful who is also known as “Fisherman, the new phase boss of Twon brass” call on party leaders in Brass Constituency 1 and the State to look out for candidates who are Loved by the masses.

“I’m loved by my people, because I am a grassroot politician,I’m a Fisherman, just the way I do things when I’m back from fishing, you reach out to your neighbors,”.

Asked how he intended to dislodge the incumbent lawmaker at the general election, Robert maintain that his victory will be determine by the electorates due to his popularity in the Constituency.
