Governor Ben Ayade is in a dilemma on how to go about settling his numerous party faithful who laboured for his landslide victory at the last Governorship election.

A highly dependable source revealed to Daybreak that there is a lit of ill feelings and anger currently being expressed by his followers because of his stoic position of overlooking the shattered economy of the state and welfare of his supporters.

According to sources, a top-notch politician of PDP in the state, said that party supporters are beginning to be restive and restless following the undue delay by Governor Ayade to  reward party faithful with political appointment.

Daybreak scooped that the main groused of the party supporters is the Governor:s stoic position of overlooking the welfare of his supporters.

However, information gathered revealed that the delays in releasing the political appointment is attributed to lack of funds and lean resources of the state. “The state is broke and grounded”, said an insider.

Governor Ben Ayade is yet to appoint commissioners, 5 months after his inauguration into office. The state executive is yet to be formally formed. Meanwhile, members of the State House of Assembly who have been in a prolonged recess are up in arms with the Governor for his inability to provide the law makers with essential working implements and instrument of office like official vehicles and other entitlements for a smooth operation.

It will be recalled that the State House of Assembly has been on recess for more than 3 months and have refused to resume until the Governor is ready to meet their demands and provide a conducive atmosphere for their legislative work.
