Parents in the state have been urged to always consider their children as blessing and take proper care of them especially towards upbringing and provision of education.
Wife of the state governor Hajiya Mariya Aminu Waziri Tambuwal gave the advice when she host members of UBE Press Club, who paid her Sallah homage at her resident along Kontagora road Sokoto.
Hajiya Mariya Aminu Waziri Tambuwal who is also the founder of Mariya Aminu Waziri Development Initiative said this is imperative as children are the leaders of tomorrow.
She told them the motives behind the establishment of the MTDI among which include her desire to assist children and less previleged women in the society.
Hajiya Mariya Tambuwal enjoined them to regularly be listening to lessons being aired on radio and television which replace their normal lessons in schools as schools remain closed due to Covid-19 pandemic.
During the visit the members of the UBE Press Club asked various questions regarding the life of the wife of the state governor.
Some of the questions are successes recorded by the MTDI and her favourite food among others.
The club was led by the Director Mobilisation SUBEB Kabiru Aliyu,UBE Press Club mentor Umar Binanci and PRO SUBEB Abbas Tukur Sanyinna.
Highlights of the visit is the presentation of Sallah gift to the future journalists.
