Contractor Handling Oguma – Seria Road, Bridge work Lacks Commitment – Bako

The Commissioner for Works and Housing, Hon. Samson Bako has expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work at Oguma – Seria road and its bridge.

Bako who expressed his displeasure when he paid an unscheduled visit to the project site at Oguma, however, summoned the management of the company for a review of the work plan.

He urged the Vanguard construction company handling the project to expedite action to deliver their jobs before the expiration of the Governor’s tenure in office.

” I am not happy with what is going on here. The video and photo updates were not in tandem with the reality on the ground, if I had not come here with my Team, I would have believed that the job had truly gone far. The work done has not justified the commitment of His Excellency ” he expressed.

Bako promised the contractor of his regular visit until the desired speed in exacted on the project

Responding, the project Site Superior, Engr. Emmanuel attributed the slow pace of work to the current heavy downpour in the region, assuring that the job would accelerate as we are gradually advancing the dry season.

The Commissioner was accompanied by the permanent Engr. Audu. O Emmanuel, the SSA on Infrastructure Hon. (TPL) Ezuh Momoh, the Director Civil Engineering Engr. Akubo Abuh Hassan and the State Information Officer Works and Housing Mr Abah Benjamin Eneojoh Treasure.
