An officer of the Kaduna State Transport and Environmental Law Enforcement Agency (KASTELEA) was on Friday reportedly killed mysteriously.

The controversies leading to the circumstances surrounding the dead of Mr. Solomon Christopher is enormous and unpredictable.
Investigation uncovered that Mr. Christopher was allegedly knockdown with his head smashed one side, by a truck driver who was on reversed, around 7am Friday, while in company of his colleagues near bridge at Kachia road before Maraban rido.

But his colleagues who were together with him with their official vehicle, when the accident happen, allegedly later picked the official car and ran away and abandoned his corpse at the scene of the incident only for FRSC officers to come and took it to the mortuary at Saint Gerard Catholic hospital.

While some people told our correspondent that Christopher was knockdown by truck driver in revised order, others alleged that he was pushed down on the road and marched by a moving vehicle, by someone among his colleagues.

Family friend source however said few days ago, Christopher had complained of conspiracy against him before promotion in his office that favoured only him, and was putting it in prayers.
Office sources also revealed in confidence that Christopher, a graduate of UniJos, had been the only staff compiling official reports and posted to the appropriate authorities.
Recently proposing to a lady for marriage, the victims according to friends and family sources is the only surviving child of the mother.

While two were allegedly arrested and in the custody of her security in connection with the incident, Christopher’s cell contained some information useful that could help further investigation, when reopen by experts who specialized in unlocking handset with password, according to a closed friend.

We promised to keep our readers posted in subsequent development as it unfolded.
