Coronavirus: Suspected cases in Lagos rise to 3

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has said the state now has three suspected cases in isolation at the Infectious Disease Centre, Yaba.

Abayomi via his twitter handle @ProfAkinAbayomi, said, “We now have 3 suspected cases under isolation in our containment facility in Yaba.

“One from France, one from England and one from China. Their samples have been taken and results are been expected.”

The Commissioner had at a briefing earlier on Thursday said the Italian being treated for Coronavirus at the Infectious Disease Centre, Yaba was getting better.

He said the Italian who has been at the centre for one week was responding to treatment, but would only be released when he would no longer be a treat the other members of society.
