COVID-19 Pandemic: Nigeria – China engage in fighting the coronavirus together

The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede MFR during the presentation for donation of medical goods by CCECC management on behalf of China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria and Zall foundation of China on Wednesday 24th June 2020 at the NIS Headquarters accompanied by the top management of the service, 9 cartons of disposable surgical masks, 11 cartons of Disposable protective suite and 1 infrared thermal imaging thermomètre were donated.

The Vice Chairman unit of China General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria, CCECC Nigeria Limited released his statement, saying that in the face of COVID-19, the Government of Federal Republic of Nigeria has taken strong measures to effectively slow the spread of the virus and we must committed in fighting COVID-19 together. The Chamber with its members wishes to express the profound gratitude to Nigeria Immigration Service for consistent support of NIS in strengthening the economic tie between the two countries.

“We are convinced that humanity will ultimately defeat the virus, all the people are poised to embrace better days ahead,” the statement said.

The Comptroller General expressed his gratitude toward the company for being sensitive to the situation at hand and supporting the service.
