Daybreak Newspaper publisher, Dr. Austin Maho buries father in Agenebode

The publisher of Daybreak Newspaper and Television, Dr. Austin Maho has buried his late father Pa Patrick Karimu Makho (JP) at Agenebode, in Estako East Local Government Area of Edo State.

The Funeral ceremony started last Wednesday 28 of June with a well attended vigil mass at the deceased residence in Ugbowo Benin city, while the funeral service took place the following day at St Patrick Catholic Ugbowo in Benin.

Pa Makho died on the 4th June, 2023 at the age of 89 in Benin city the Edo state capital.
He was the patriarch of the family of Ugiomo of Iviebua in Agenebode the capital of Etsako East local government area of Edo state.

He was a retired civil servant with the Edo state ministry of information. He started his career civil service career in 1967 with the then Midwestern region which later became Bendel state. Subsequently with the creation of Edo and Delta state from Bendel state he transferred his service to Edo state from where he retired in 1998 as a principal officer.

Left to mourn him are his wife, children and several grand children amongst whom is Dr. Austin Maho the publisher of Daybreak newspaper
