Democracy day – Tinubu would live up to expectations of Nigerians, says Plateau Senator Nora Daduut

in the National Assembly Prof. Dame Nora Ladi, Daduut has called on the People of her zone to support the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration as he would live up to the expectations of Nigerians .

This was contained in her democracy day message to citizens of Plateau South and made available to newsmen in Jos on Monday .

Senator Daduut said ” I have confidence that he (Tinubu) has what it takes to turn Nigeria around. I have confidence in him.”

The statement reads that “with less than two weeks into office , President Bola Tinubu, has proven that he is well equipped, committed and trusted Nigerian who has the capacity to transform the country.”

She further called on her constituents , citizens of Plateau and all Nigerians to be peaceful in all their dealings and put Nigeria as a country first above personal interests.

The statement reads that ” I congratulated the President of the Country his excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR , the first lady of the Nation Senator Oluremi Tinubu ,the outgoing President of the Senate Hon Ahmed Lawan ,for their dynamic leadership qualities as well as the good people of Plateau south and Nigerians for marking this year’s Democracy Day.”

She said since 1999, Nigeria had come a long way in democratic practice, noting that the country’s system is growing by the day.

Senator Daduut said Nigeria has learnt a lot in the last 24 years of uninterrupted democracy.

In her words “Let us continue to uphold the bond of citizenship that has kept us together as one indivisible people.”

“Let us also be diligent and firm in the belief that we shall harvest the dividends of the sacrifices that many have given to obtain and sustain our democracy.”

“This occasion, therefore, calls for a re-dedication of ourselves to pursuing those ideals that promote national unity and peaceful co- existence,’’ she further said.

The Senator who has been working so hard to empower women ,youths and the aged in her Senatorial district ,vowed to always put the interest of her people first at all times .
