DG Sokoto PWA Laments Over None Acceptance Of 170 Intending Pilgrims By NAHCON

The Director General Sokoto Pilgrims Welfare Agency Ibrahim Umar Arkilla while lamenting over none acceptance of 170 Hajj seats, called on the intending Pilgrims to remain calm and consider it the will of God.

Ibrahim Umar who was appointed by the present administration said the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON failed to provide VISAS to the 170 intending pilgrims.

He said it was as a result of the immediate past administration’s inability to pay the dues within the stipulated period adding that the money paid by the intending pilgrims would be paid back to them immediately while those wishing to be part of the next year’s performance should come to the PWA for agreement purpose.

However, the Director General called on intending Pilgrims who are already at the Holyland to be worthy ambassadors and fly the flag of the Sultanate saying the present administration under the leadership of Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto would it can to make stay at Holyland easy.
