Eid-El-Fitr: Gov. Bello Congratulates Muslim Faithful, Calls For National Integration

As Muslim faithful celebrate the 2023 Eid-el-Fitr all over the world, Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Thursday in Lokoja tasked Nigerians to ensure peaceful coexistence towards proffering solutions to Nigeria’s problems.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, on Thursday in Lokoja, said the teachings of Ramadan were centred on humanity, kindness, peace and love.

The governor also urged all Muslims to ensure that the lessons they had learnt during the Ramadan season and their act of devotion remain a consistent way of life even after the 29 days exercise.

Bello who noted that Ramadan was a season of several teachings that centred on humanity, kindness, peace and love felicitated with the people of the state for the successful completion of the 2023 Ramadan Fast.

He used the opportunity to harp on the gains of our peaceful coexistence and national integration as he calls for prayers for the leaders as the country is preparing for the transition of government at the federal and in most states of the federation.
