EVACUATION: Ooni gives stranded Nigerians hope

Some stranded Nigerians resident in the United States of America and Canada hope of returning to their base has been given a new breath following the intervention of the Ooni of Ife and other well meaning Nigerians.

The new move is consequence of a new development that will see to their return as efforts of the His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife and some well meaning Nigerians has brought forth a charter flight for them.

The flight scheduled for July 25, will depart Newmark USA for Lagos and as expected will on the 26th leave Lagos for Toronto and Newmark with the stranded passengers.
According to the His Imperial Majesty,   Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II , this was a great development in the right direction, saying “I did not think twice when they approached me for assistance to facilitate a charter flight for them, many have been without their families for four months or more.”

He said the pandemic is a collective fight and it was important to support all that need support both at home and abroad.
Also speaking on the development, the Managing Director of 7 Star Global Hanger Ltd, Mr. Isaac Balami said “We are working with all the necessary local and international authorities to make this possible and safe for passengers. The cost is reasonable, booking and payment process is transparent.

Isaac expressed appreciation to the Ooni of Ife for his support and wished all the passengers safe trips and happy reunion with their love ones.
