Trapped
There came a time when the people of the world needed to hibernate. The world experienced a massive adjustment in style and living. The transition was so dramatic and drastic such that a lot of people were caught in the web of its transformation.
Many got stranded in foreign lands, undergoing daily torment of separation from their loved ones and families. Trapped in a time that did not have the capacity to heal their pain.
Truly, the world faced one of the most uncertain times in its history, a time where even nature went silent and the world economy came to a halt as the whole world shutdown and families shut in.
It was time to reform our mindset. It was time to rebuild our broken relationships with family and friends, not sure if this was the last thing we would possibly do before the world slides into total silence.
The pressure of the unknown kept many on edge especially the rich. They couldn’t even begin to imagine how with so much wealth in their hands, they still could not command the fear that was ravaging their thoughts. For the first time, even the rich felt helpless knowing their monies couldn’t get them out of the terrible situation neither could it buy their lives in the face of the death that was looming everywhere.
Slowly, days got into weeks and weeks into months as the fear continued to brew and the awaited cure and means to contain the deadly virus seemed quite out of reach.
Everyone became confused, frustrated and overwhelmed at the rising death toll that became a daily trend all over the world where over 185 countries and regions were affected. The world was indeed trapped.
