Justice Kumai Aka’ahs, retired Justice of the supreme court and the Chairman of the Judicial Commission of inquiry on Tiv-Jukun crisis in Taraba has said that peace can only be achievable when there is justice and fairness.
Aka’ahs made the assertion on Friday during the inauguration of sitting by the commission in Jalingo.
He said that the committee would be fair to all parties in the ongoing crisis so as to bring lasting solution to the perennial crisis in the southern part of the state.
Aka’ahs, a retired Justice of Supreme Court (JSC) called on all agrieved to cooperate with the commission ensuring that lasting peace was achieved.
While outlining procedures for the hearing, he assured all parties that the commission would not victimise anyone
