The Federal Capital Territory’s Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCT MPWB) has commenced the distribution of 32-kilogram luggage bags to FCT pilgrims preparing to return from Saudi Arabia.
The officials in charge of the distribution urged all pilgrims to strictly comply with the established luggage policy to ensure smooth processing during their return.
This initiative comes ahead of the resumption of return flights from Saudi Arabia to Nigeria, which the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) announced will begin on June 13, 2025.
The 32-kilogram bags are intended to standardize luggage allowances and help pilgrims avoid delays or penalties at departure and arrival points.
FCT MPWB assured that the distribution exercise will continue until all registered pilgrims receive their bags, as part of efforts to facilitate a safe and orderly return for pilgrims after completing the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
