The Federal Government has restated its commitment to working with Nigerian youths to promote peace, stability, and national development in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, gave the assurance when he received a delegation from the Niger Delta Progressive Youth Leadership Foundation (NDPYLF), led by its President, Chief Diplomat Adam Ogomugo Marbo, in Abuja.
The statement, signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Segun Imohiosen, noted that the SGF was represented by the Permanent Secretary overseeing the General Services Office, Mohammed Sanusi Danjuma.
Danjuma said the Tinubu-led administration is ready to engage youths in peacebuilding and unity efforts, stressing that true development can only thrive in a peaceful environment.
He added that the Office would collaborate with relevant ministries, departments, agencies (MDAs), and the private sector to empower young people through access to opportunities and an enabling environment to contribute to the nation’s economic growth.
In his remarks, NDPYLF President Marbo said the Foundation is committed to mobilising youths across the six geo-political zones to promote unity, peacebuilding, leadership development, and empowerment for sustainable national development.
