The erstwhile Chief of Army Staff, COAS, and top notcher of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Lt. Gen. Ishaya Bamaiyi retd, has warn against utterances that could tarnish the raging image of the party in the Country.
He read the riot acts when he received some major PDP stakeholders from Kebbi State South Senatorial district on a courtesy visit at his Abuja based residence.
Gen. Ishaya Bamaiyi stated, that all genuine PDP members were duty-bound to commit themselves over its future growth to occupy the apex Political Party status in Nigeria and other democratic Nations across the globe.
He described their wisdom-prone decision to pay him homage and his family as “delightful” inspite of their tightly framed campaign schedules across Kebbi State and Nigeria at large.
The former Military boss, also disclosed his anger over the inclusion of his name paraded by certain PDP elements as the Direction General DG, Presidential Campaign Council in the country.
On his fraternity with Dr. Bello Haliru Muhammad (Dangaladiman Gwandu) Gen. Bamaiyi said, they peered among the Nation’s Elders statesmen and Kebbi State in Particular, which has deepen the duo’s Political cohesion, required to move the state and Nigeria forward.
He respectively appreciated the responses of Hon. Garba Musa Maidoki and Hon. Umar Abdullahi Maye Yauri, eyeing for the Senatorial and House of Representatives seats, for their visit, donations of materials and food items to the IDP camps located at Yauri and Zuru Emirates.
As he prayed for the souls of the victims, the retired General admonished the candidates to spread the gestures across the Senatorial district and convey to their Political base the course of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar the Unifier of Nigerian to the latter.
The Secretary 5-Star- Promoters-Forum, Hon. Dantani Ango Yellow, who spoke among others, said it was necessary to sought for the support and blessings of Gen. Ishaya Bamaiyi as a revered personality imbued with a lot of wisdom that could work for the present and future socio-economic needs of Kebbi State.
Other top PDP notchers at the occasion, included Hon. Khadija Hassan Dabai and Hon. Sale Gambo Yariman Wasagu, Barr. Mudi Musa Warah and Hajiya Aishat tadurga as well as the Chairmen of the seven Local Government that composed the Southern Senatorial seat.
