Fubara Swears in Five New Commissioners, Two Special Advisers

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has officially inducted five new commissioners and two special advisers into the state’s executive council. The new commissioners are Mr. Ilamu Abua, Dr. Roland Obed-Whyte, Mr. Austin Nadozie, Mr. Samuel Eyiba, and Dr. Samuel Anya. Additionally, Mr. Forgive Amachree and Mr. Achor Nna have been appointed as special advisers.

During the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Fubara emphasized his administration’s dedication to executing projects that directly benefit the people of Rivers State. He urged the new appointees to view their roles as opportunities to serve the state rather than avenues for personal gain.

The governor also called on the new members to contribute ideas that would enhance good governance, stressing that governance is centered on delivering quality, people-focused services to improve the lives of citizens. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities and ensuring that the support of the people is well-justified.
