Ganduje Presents Over N245bn For 2023 To The State Parliament

Kano state governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has presented over 245 biliion naira to the state House of assembly  for the 2023 fiscal year in which was  tittled “Budget of consolidation two”, while education, healthcare and agriculture receives largest share.

Speaking at the colourful event, governor Ganduje assured that his administration would continue to use the state’s resources for the implementation of vital developmental projects that benefits the people at both rural and urban settlements.

The governor further lamented that ” we have done a lot from our existence to date and Kano people are enjoying what we executed as dividends of democracy like what is being seen in every sector, and we want assure our electorates that our administration would ensure that all what has been budgeted is also implemented with balance”. He concluded.

Responding, the speaker of the Kano state House of assembly, Honourable Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari stated that Kano Parliament would work selflessly for the passage of the budget proposal in order to ensure that  speedy implementation of what the budget contains by the executive arm of the government.

In a chat with our correspondent, the executive chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local government council Alhaji Ado Tambai Kwa said that governor Ganduje would continue to be remembered on what he offered to Kano state in every sector, where he assured that the 2023 budget  would facilitate development, economic progress and security in the state.
