Gov.Ishaku receives panel investigating killing of security personnel

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku of Taraba state, has received the seven man joint panel constituted by Nigeria Defence Headquarters Abuja, at the Government House in Jalingo.

The Panel is to investigate Tuesday 6th of August killing of three Police Officers and a civilian by soldiers of the ninety three (93) battalion of the Nigeria Army in Takum.

The seven man panel is headed by Rear Admiral Olaiya.

The constitution of the committee was in line with the directive of President Mohammadu Buhari to unravel the circumstances surrounding the killing of the security personnel along Ibi Wukari road.

The Joint Panel comprises of representatives of the Army, Navy, Airforce, Police, Department of State Security and the Defence Academy.

Our Correspondent revealed that, the meeting was held in close door with the security personal as Governor Ishaku directed Journalist to live the venue.
